Note that the eaglet is missing the familiar white head - Bald Eagles don't actually attain the white head until 4-5 years of age. As stated before, our favorite time of the year. Lots of geese around and about every other pair have goslets hanging around. Of course, the Osprey are plentiful as well. The picture of the tree just shows the streaks from a lightning strike - very near the eagles nest. The nest itself is, of course, well built, certainly not a Centex nest!

Eagle's Nest
Note that the eaglet is missing the familiar white head - Bald Eagles don't actually attain the white head until 4-5 years of age. As stated before, our favorite time of the year.
