Quick Visit to Georgia

While Debbie took off to Wyoming for a week-long visit to Jared and the grand-kids, I took off down to Jonesboro over the 4th of July weekend.  The weather was hot hot hot .... did I mention that it was hot?  Take my word for it - it was a roaster in Jonesboro.  Drove down on Friday before the 4th and headed back on Monday with an overnight stop in Evans (Augusta) at Kenneth's and Barbara's.

While in Jonesboro, I was able to power wash Dad's deck and then apply some stain-guard to it.  Turned out pretty good - but did I mention it was hot?  I power washed on Saturday and stained on Sunday when the sun went behind the clouds from time-to-time (did I mention it was hot).  Started around 0900 and finished about 12 hours later.  Kenneth and Barbara came over on Saturday and took off back home on Sunday.  Of course we all enjoyed the home cooking of burgers and steaks and - yes - banana pudding!  Uhhhmmmm uhhhhhhmmmmm.
