Dave is an an Army brat and retired from the Air Force in 2006 and is now working as an AF civilian. Debbie works in real estate for a local firm. We both enjoy the outdoors and being 'tree-huggers' as we have been called. As tree-huggers, we enjoy feeding 'our' herd of backyard deer and their friends the squirrels, birds, foxes, possums, and raccoons. Between us we have seven kids and eleven grand-kids spread out from Virginia to Texas, to Idaho to Washington.

We are car-payment free!!

Well, it finally happened!  Dave walked into the local Sun Trust and told 'em he was there to pay off the Jeep!  Ahhhh, what a great sound that is ... let me type it again ..... PAY OFF THE JEEP!!  There - that's better.  So, with that, we are car payment free for the first time since we have been married (Debbie paid off the RAV over a year ago).  Between the Liberty and the RAV4 we have chalked up 240,000+ miles (165,000 of that would be the Jeep).  But, both are in excellent shape and have plenty of miles left to go.  Dave just needs to avoid anyone driving a new car - and certainly not get in a new one with that great new-car smell.  Soooooooooo, out of kindness to me, please don't tell me if you bought a new car - just enjoy it in silence.  Debbie on the other hand doesn't suffer from the new car bug - just loves her RAV.
